Self-help and self-referral services
Many conditions can be managed without needing to contact the surgery. Please use the links below for trusted advice and local self-referral services.
Check it is not an emergency
Call 111 or 999 immediately if you have any of the following symptoms. Requests of this nature will not be seen online.
- Crushing chest pain or tightness
- Sudden facial drooping, slurred speech, arm weakness, or numbness on one side of the body
- Severe difficulty breathing
- Heavy bleeding that will not stop
- Severe injuries
- Feeling suicidal or wanting to harm yourself or others
Appointments and requests
Accurx is the quickest way to contact the surgery online. You can use it for medical requests, administrative queries, and repeat medication requests.

Urgent appointments
For urgent same-day problems, please contact us via the NHS Wales App or by calling the surgery.
Call the surgery – 01633 482733- A member of our reception team will ask a few questions about your problem.
- This helps us direct you to the most appropriate clinician.
You will usually be offered a telephone consultation first. The clinician may then arrange a face-to-face appointment if needed.
Children aged 16 years and under with an acute problem will be assessed on the same day.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible via the NHS Wales App or by calling the surgery. This allows the appointment to be offered to another patient.
