You don't need to see the doctor, you can go straight to the local pharmacy. If you are registered with a surgery in Torfaen, you can visit your local pharmacy for advice and treatment free of charge & without a prescription.

Emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) has an important role in the prevention of unwanted teenage pregnancy because of the unplanned and sporadic nature of many teenagers sexual activity.
